Swedish text
Two civil servants must deliver the devastating news to an elderly woman that her house will be demolished to make way for a new road — but nothing goes according to plan. The conversation quickly dissolves into misunderstandings, small talk, coffee, and cake, as they desperately struggle to gather the courage to tell the truth. The result is a comical and highly relatable story about awkward situations, terrible timing, and humanity’s remarkable ability to avoid saying what really matters.
